Bent Tree Pro Shop Update

Wednesday, February 2nd, 2011

Hello from the Pro Shop,

The warm weekend had us out playing and enjoying the weather for a change. It is amazing what a little sun and fun can do for our attitudes. This weekend was a great reminder that spring will come again.

Thank you all for the positive feedback regarding the “greens” letter. It is our goal to continue this type of communication. We will strive to address issues that are voiced, and answer any questions concerning our golf community.

There have been questions regarding use of private carts on our course.
When discussing ways to increase cash flow, the idea to use only Bent Tree Golf Carts on our course was suggested. Private carts are a valuable asset to our golf course; the Board recognizes the freedom this gives our members. There is no serious discussion at Bent Tree about Private Carts not being allowed.

Golf Members
In saying Thank You, each Membership will receive Two Guest Passes and Two Ten Dollar Lunch Coupons. Coupons will be available at Bent Tree Golf Shop in early spring.

Dateline:  Big Canoe Golf Course, September 17, 2008

Last Wednesday 144 golfers teed off in the 19th Annual Rotary Club of Jasper Charity Golf Tournament.  The weatherman had predicted clearing skies and rising temperatures, but he must have been a flat lander from down state because he missed the fact the mountains in North Georgia often capture the clouds and hold them and that is exactly what happened last week as we had a cool cloudy day and it was perfect weather for golf.  The Big Canoe course was in great shape ( as usual) and the golfers were in good spirit as they faced the challenging Big Canoe course.     Life In North Georgia blogger, Rotarian and local Realtor, Don Martin, supported the tournament by sponsoring a team and by providing the Grand Prize for the tournament give-away.

Golf In Bent Tree

Sunday, August 17th, 2008

As we were playing the Trouts Community Charity Open last week on Bent Tree’s beautiful Joe Lee designed course and again on Saturday when I had an old friend from Peachtree City up to play the course, I was reminded just what a beautiful course this is and how many lovely homes line its 18 fairways.
